I have this flip chart I bought over the summer with 365 days of beauty. I find it awesome to read these daily, and at 12am, I look forward to flipping the page. They are always notes of encouragement and and the Love of Christ. (What could be more awesome?)
Some of my fave comments or verses:
August 16th: "You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body."-1 Corinthians 6:19-20
August 18th: "Obedience really is a beautiful thing... God wants us to trust Him so much that when he asks us to do something, we do it-- Flat out. No questions. No wondering. No delayed response. Just Obedience."
August 19th: "Keep your eyes on Jesus. Press on! You have much to gain, and it won't be weight"
August 22nd: "Inner beauty secret: Knowledge of God's power will empower you."
August 30th: "Let go and let God. In other words, don't make a move without the Lord. He has a beautiful life planned ahead of you!"
September 1st: "Beauty without intelligence is an illusion that is close to disenchantment... It disappears as soon as the light of reason penetrates beyond the place where the eyes can see."
**I can't explain how some of these small phrases have been read at a time when I ABSOLUTELY needed to hear them. God's good.. and although the world can get more and more evil, HE will prevail.
