Is it weird that you can be crying from emotional pain one second, and literally the next, perfectly fine? Well, even if it's weird, that's me. Papa died in June, and OH HOW I MISS HIM!! I was listening to a song today played at his funeral on YouTube. It's Go Rest High on that Mountain by Vince Gill and after a few seconds of crying, at the end, the next video suggestion popped up, and it was When I Get Where I'm Going by Brad Paisley. I listened to it in a different light today. I heard these words, and all of the happy memories came at me, and I remembered how much I love him and can't wait to walk with him one day.

and ill tell him how i missed him every minute since he left

365 Days of Beauty - Part 1
I have this flip chart I bought over the summer with 365 days of beauty. I find it awesome to read these daily, and at 12am, I look forward to flipping the page. They are always notes of encouragement and and the Love of Christ. (What could be more awesome?)
Some of my fave comments or verses:
August 16th: "You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body."-1 Corinthians 6:19-20
August 18th: "Obedience really is a beautiful thing... God wants us to trust Him so much that when he asks us to do something, we do it-- Flat out. No questions. No wondering. No delayed response. Just Obedience."
August 19th: "Keep your eyes on Jesus. Press on! You have much to gain, and it won't be weight"
August 22nd: "Inner beauty secret: Knowledge of God's power will empower you."
August 30th: "Let go and let God. In other words, don't make a move without the Lord. He has a beautiful life planned ahead of you!"
September 1st: "Beauty without intelligence is an illusion that is close to disenchantment... It disappears as soon as the light of reason penetrates beyond the place where the eyes can see."
**I can't explain how some of these small phrases have been read at a time when I ABSOLUTELY needed to hear them. God's good.. and although the world can get more and more evil, HE will prevail.
